FAQs

What types of mattresses are compatible with the Madison bed frame?

The Madison bed frame is designed to accommodate standard mattresses of the specified size. It provides a supportive surface, so a box spring is typically not required unless specifically recommended for a particular mattress type.

How long does delivery typically take for a custom-made bed frame?

As each bed is custom-made to order, delivery times can vary. Please refer to the estimated delivery timeframe provided at the time of purchase or contact customer service for a more precise estimate.

Can I choose a different headboard height?

The product description mentions a matching 50" upholstered headboard option for some variants. However, the standard Madison frame features full-height fluted panels. For specific customization options beyond the standard offering, it's best to inquire directly with the manufacturer.

How do I clean the upholstered fabric?

General care involves regular vacuuming. For spills, spot clean with a mild detergent and a damp cloth. Specific fabric types have unique care needs; consult the guide provided for your chosen fabric range (Plush Velvet, Naples, Coniston, Dumfries).

Does the bed frame include slats or a solid base?

The frame is designed to provide a sturdy, supportive sleep surface, which typically includes a slatted base or a similar support system integral to the frame's construction. Refer to the specific product details for confirmation.

What are the available sizes for the Madison bed frame?

The Madison bed frame is available in a wide range of sizes, including 2FT6 Small Single, 3FT Single, 4FT Small Double, 4FT6 Double, 5FT King Size, and 6FT Super King.

Is assembly required, and are tools included?

Assembly is required. While specific tools might not always be included, the frame is designed for straightforward assembly, and instructions are provided. It's often recommended to have basic household tools on hand.

Troubleshooting

Bed frame creaks or makes noise.

Ensure all bolts and screws are securely tightened. Check that the mattress is properly centered and not shifting excessively.

Difficulty assembling the frame.

Review the assembly manual carefully. Ensure all parts are identified correctly before starting. Contact customer support if specific steps remain unclear.

Fabric appears wrinkled or creased after unpacking.

Gently steam the fabric on a low setting, keeping the steamer at a safe distance. Alternatively, allow the fabric to settle naturally over a few days.

Missing parts during assembly.

Double-check all packaging materials. If parts are indeed missing, contact Sloomy customer service with your order details and a list of the missing components.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup: The Madison bed frame is designed for straightforward assembly. While specific instructions are provided with the product, the flatpack option is engineered for user convenience. It is recommended to have two people for assembly, especially for larger sizes.

Compatibility: This frame is compatible with standard mattresses of the corresponding size. No specific foundation or box spring is typically required, as the frame provides direct mattress support. Always check the product manual for specific recommendations.

Care: To maintain the upholstered finish, regularly vacuum the fabric using an upholstery attachment to remove dust and debris. For spills or stains, spot clean immediately with a mild detergent and a clean, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Refer to the care guide for the specific fabric chosen (Plush Velvet, Naples, Coniston, or Dumfries) for detailed cleaning instructions.
