Setup, Compatibility & Care
This AEG ceramic hob is designed for built-in installation and requires hard-wiring by a qualified professional.
Installation:
- Ensure the cutout dimensions in your countertop match the hob's specifications (50mm x 910mm x 520mm).
- Connect the hob to the power supply following local electrical codes and the manufacturer's instructions. A qualified electrician should perform this.
- Secure the hob in the cutout.
Compatibility:
- The hob is compatible with most cookware, but using flat-bottomed cookware is recommended for optimal performance.
- Ensure the cookware base diameter matches the size of the cooking zone.
Care:
- Allow the hob to cool completely before cleaning.
- Wipe the surface with a damp cloth or a ceramic hob cleaner.
- Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, which can scratch the surface.
- Wipe up spills immediately to prevent them from burning onto the surface.
