Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
This is an automatic watch and does not require initial setup beyond winding it a few times to start the movement if it has stopped. Ensure the crown is pushed in fully after setting the time to maintain water resistance.
Compatibility:
This watch is a standalone timepiece. Compatibility refers to its fit on the wrist; the stainless steel bracelet includes removable links, allowing for a customized fit. Consult a professional jeweler or watchmaker if you require complex sizing adjustments.
Care:
- Cleaning: Wipe the case and bracelet regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For tougher spots, use a slightly damp cloth and dry immediately. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Winding: If the watch is not worn daily, it may stop. To restart, gently wind the crown clockwise about 30-40 times. It is recommended to wear the watch for at least 8-10 hours a day to keep the automatic movement sufficiently powered.
- Water Resistance: While water-resistant up to 50 meters (5 ATM), avoid prolonged submersion. The water resistance seals can degrade over time and should be checked periodically, especially if the watch is exposed to salt water or chemicals.
