Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: This watch arrives with its crown pulled out to conserve battery life. To start the watch, gently push the crown back in against the case. If your watch includes chronograph functions, familiarize yourself with the pusher buttons located above and below the crown to start, stop, and reset the stopwatch.
Compatibility: This is a standalone analog watch and does not have electronic compatibility requirements with other devices.
Care:
- Cleaning: Wipe the case and bracelet gently with a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Water Resistance: The watch is water-resistant for daily use, meaning it can withstand splashes or brief contact with water (like rain or handwashing). It is *not* suitable for swimming, diving, or prolonged submersion.
- Storage: Store the watch in a cool, dry place, preferably in its original box, to protect it from dust and scratches.
- Battery: The Japanese quartz movement is powered by a battery that will eventually need replacement. Consult a professional watchmaker for battery changes to ensure the seals remain intact.
