Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup
Your Emporio Armani AR1925 watch is simple to set up:
- Remove the Crown Stopper: If present, gently pull out the small plastic stopper from under the crown (the small knob on the side of the watch).
- Set the Time: Pull the crown outwards to its first or second position (depending on the model, it typically clicks once for time adjustment). Rotate the crown until the hour and minute hands display the correct time. Always set the time clockwise to avoid stressing the movement.
- Push Crown Back: Once the time is set, push the crown firmly back into its original position. The seconds hand (if present) should start moving.
Compatibility
This watch is a standalone accessory and does not have electronic compatibility requirements. It is designed to complement a wide range of fashion styles, from classic to contemporary.
Product Care & Maintenance
Proper care will help maintain the beauty and functionality of your AR1925 watch:
- Cleaning: Regularly wipe the watch case and bracelet with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to remove dirt, oils, and perspiration. For stainless steel, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by immediate drying.
- Water Exposure: Remember the 3 ATM water resistance. This means:
- DO: Withstand splashes, light rain, and accidental spills.
- DO NOT: Wear while showering, bathing, swimming, snorkeling, or diving. Avoid exposing it to steam or hot water, as temperature changes can compromise seals.
- Avoid Chemicals: Keep the watch away from harsh chemicals, solvents, perfumes, cosmetics, and detergents, as these can damage the case, bracelet, and seals.
- Temperature Extremes: Avoid exposing your watch to extreme temperatures, both hot and cold, as this can affect the battery life and the precision of the movement.
- Magnetic Fields: Keep the watch away from strong magnetic fields (e.g., speakers, refrigerators, laptops), which can temporarily affect the accuracy of the quartz movement.
- Storage: When not wearing the watch, store it in a clean, dry place, ideally in its original box or a soft pouch, away from direct sunlight.
- Battery Replacement: The quartz movement is powered by a battery. When the watch stops or the seconds hand begins to jump in irregular intervals (indicating low battery), have the battery replaced by a qualified watchmaker to ensure proper sealing and to avoid damaging the movement.
