Setup, Compatibility & Care
Before your first hike, wear the shoes around the house for a few hours to ensure the fit is correct and your feet are adjusted to the support levels. Because these are performance hiking shoes, ensure your socks are made of synthetic or merino wool materials to wick moisture away effectively. To care for your shoes, remove surface dirt after each hike using a soft brush. If the shoes become muddy, clean them with lukewarm water and a mild soap; avoid submerging them for long periods. Always air dry your shoes away from direct heat sources like radiators, as extreme heat can degrade the midsole cushioning and the shoe's adhesives.
