Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Upon first use, ensure the boots are laced securely but comfortably. Experiment with different lacing patterns to find the fit that best supports your foot without creating pressure points. A snug fit is essential for optimal control and responsiveness.
Compatibility
These boots are specifically designed for artificial turf (TF) surfaces. Using them on natural grass (FG/SG), firm ground, or indoor courts (IC) can significantly reduce their performance, cause premature wear to the outsole, and potentially lead to injury due to inadequate grip. Always match your footwear to the playing surface.
Care
- Cleaning: After each use, remove loose dirt and mud with a soft brush. Wipe the boots clean with a damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the boot's surface.
- Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not expose them to direct heat sources (e.g., radiators, direct sunlight) as this can cause materials to crack or shrink.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Consider using boot trees or stuffing them with newspaper to help maintain their shape.
- Odor Control: If odors develop, use a shoe deodorizer or place baking soda in the boots overnight.
