'MC' stands for Multilayer Coating, indicating that the lenses have multiple anti-reflective coatings applied to enhance light transmission and image brightness.

This eyepiece is designed specifically for Nikon Fieldscopes. Compatibility depends on the Fieldscope's objective lens diameter, which affects the magnification range. It is not generally compatible with other brands of spotting scopes.

The magnification varies: 13-40x with a 50mm objective, 20-60x with a 60mm objective, and 25-75x with an 82mm objective.

The turn-slide rubber eyecup is designed to be adjusted but typically is not meant for full removal. Clean it gently with a damp cloth.

The lenses employ Eco-glass, which is environmentally friendly as it contains no arsenic or lead.

Use a soft, lint-free optical lens cloth. For stubborn smudges, use a lens cleaning solution approved for optical lenses. Avoid abrasive materials.

The multilayer coating significantly increases light transmission and reduces reflections, resulting in a brighter, sharper, and more contrasty image, especially in lower light conditions.

Ensure the eyepiece is securely attached to the Fieldscope. Check that all lens surfaces are clean. Verify the eyepiece is compatible with your Fieldscope model and that the Fieldscope objective lens is clean.

Fully extend the turn-slide rubber eyecup and slowly retract it while looking through the eyepiece until a full, clear field of view is achieved without vignetting.

Gently try to work the zoom ring back and forth. Ensure no debris has become lodged around the mechanism. If the issue persists, contact Nikon support.
