Setup, Compatibility & Care
Compatibility: Before purchasing, it is crucial to consult your vehicle's owner's manual or check the existing bulb type to confirm that the H7 fitment is correct for your vehicle's low beam or high beam headlights, as specified. Using the incorrect bulb type can lead to improper fitment, poor light projection, or electrical issues.
Setup: Installation typically involves accessing the rear of the headlight assembly. This may require removing the headlight housing or other components depending on your vehicle's make and model. Handle the new bulb only by its plastic base, avoiding touching the glass, as oils from your skin can cause the bulb to overheat and fail prematurely. Ensure the bulb is seated correctly and secured before reconnecting the power.
Care: To maintain optimal performance, periodically check that the headlight lenses are clean and free from obstructions. The quartz glass with UV filter helps protect the bulb itself and the housing, but external cleaning of the headlight assembly is recommended. Avoid frequent on/off switching of headlights, as this can reduce bulb lifespan.
