Armstead Trade Undercoat is a professional grade, solvent-based undercoat suitable for all interior and exterior wood, metal, and primed masonry surfaces. It is recommended for use with Armstead Trade High Gloss for a durable, high-gloss system. For best results, apply with a brush or roller. Avoid spraying solvent-based paints for health and safety reasons. Ensure surfaces are clean and dry before application. Rub down previously painted surfaces using 'wet flatting' methods and wipe with a damp, lint-free cloth. Treat knots in woodwork with an appropriate knotting solution, and prime new or bare surfaces with a suitable primer.
