Setup
- Initial Charge: Before first use, fully charge your EcoFlow RIVER 3 Plus. You can use a standard AC wall outlet for the fastest charge (approx. 1 hour).
- Solar Charging (Optional): Connect compatible solar panels (up to 220W) to the designated solar input port. Ensure panels are in direct sunlight for optimal charging efficiency.
- Expansion (Optional): If expanding capacity, connect the RIVER 3 Plus to its extra battery (sold separately) using the wire-free connection. Refer to the extra battery's manual for specific instructions.
Compatibility
The RIVER 3 Plus features various output ports to support a wide range of devices:
- AC Outlets: For household appliances up to 600W (1200W with X-Boost).
- USB-A & USB-C Ports: For charging smartphones, tablets, laptops, and other USB-powered devices.
- Car Port (12V DC): For car-powered appliances like mini-fridges or car vacuums.
It is compatible with most standard household electronics, power tools within its wattage limits, and smart devices. The UPS function is ideal for sensitive electronics like computers and networking gear.
Care
- Storage: Store the unit in a dry, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. For long-term storage, discharge the battery to around 30% and then recharge to 80% every 3-6 months to preserve battery health.
- Cleaning: Use a dry, soft cloth to clean the exterior of the unit. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the unit in water.
- Temperature: Operate the unit within its recommended temperature range (Info needed: specific operating temperature range) to ensure optimal performance and battery longevity.
- Avoid Overloading: Do not exceed the rated output of 600W (or 1200W in X-Boost mode) to prevent damage to the unit and connected devices.
