Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your hiking shoes last, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Remove excess dirt after every hike using a soft-bristled brush. For deeper cleaning, use lukewarm water and mild soap; avoid harsh detergents or bleach.
- Drying: Air dry the shoes at room temperature. Never place them near direct heat sources like radiators or campfires, as excessive heat can degrade the adhesives and warp the materials.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve the color and integrity of the synthetic upper.
- Break-in: While the shoes are designed for comfort out of the box, wear them on short walks before attempting an extended all-day hike to ensure the fit is perfect for your foot volume.
