Alessi Basket Black Metal. Dimensions: L 24.5 cm x W 23.2 cm x H 6.2 cm. This basket is part of the La Stanza dello Scirocco collection by Mario Trimarchi for Alessi. Its design is inspired by a stack of playing cards tumbling to the ground, creating a collection of geometrically irregular items made up of small splinters of various sizes, interlaced in an unstable balance. The designer envisioned this collection being recounted through hand drawings and shadow images, inviting personal interpretation. This centerpiece or fruit bowl is made of steel colored with epoxy resin.
