The jacket has a water-repellent finish, which means it is resistant to light rain but is not fully waterproof for heavy, prolonged downpours.
No, the hood is a fixed, elasticated design intended to stay securely in place.
The jacket follows standard UK children's sizing. Please refer to the specific size label (e.g., 7-8 or 9-10) and consult a standard children's sizing chart if you are between sizes.
Yes, it can be machine washed on a gentle cycle, but avoid using fabric softeners to protect the water-repellent coating.
Yes, the jacket includes 360-degree reflective trims to ensure visibility from multiple angles.
The water-repellent finish may have worn off. Wash the jacket and re-apply a technical DWR (Durable Water Repellent) spray treatment.
Ensure the fabric behind the zip is not caught. You can lightly lubricate the zip teeth with a graphite pencil or specialized zip wax.
To keep the Lofthouse jacket in top condition, follow standard care guidelines for polyester-padded clothing. Close all zips and fasteners before washing to prevent snagging. Machine wash on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent. Avoid using fabric softeners, as these can compromise the water-repellent finish. To restore the water-repellent properties over time, you may use a professional-grade technical wash or spray-on treatment. Always air dry the jacket away from direct heat sources like radiators to protect the synthetic insulation from clumping or damage.
