Setup, Compatibility & Care
- Preparation: Identify the location for the item to be mounted and ensure the surface is clean and free from debris.
- Drilling: Use a 7mm drill bit to create a hole in the wall. The depth of the hole should be slightly longer than the plug.
- Insertion: Insert the Rawlplug UNO plug into the hole. If necessary, use a hammer to tap it flush with the wall surface.
- Mounting: Place the item you want to mount against the wall and align the mounting holes with the plug.
- Screwing: Insert a screw (4.0 - 6.0mm) through the item's mounting hole and into the plug. Tighten the screw until the item is securely fastened.
Compatibility: The Rawlplug UNO plugs are compatible with screws ranging from 4.0 - 6.0mm and are suitable for use in concrete, brickwork, stone, blockwork, and plasterboard.
Care: No specific care is required. Ensure the plugs are stored in a dry place before use. Check the fixing periodically, especially for items subject to stress or vibration.
