Isotex 15000 is Regatta's own fabric technology that provides a high level of waterproofing and breathability, rated at 15,000mm for water resistance and 15,000g/m²/24hrs for breathability.

The jacket provides waterproof and windproof protection, but its insulation is minimal. For very cold weather, it is designed to be layered over warmer insulating garments like fleeces or down jackets.

Wash on a gentle cycle with a non-biological liquid detergent at 40°C. Avoid fabric softeners. After washing, tumble dry on low heat and consider re-proofing periodically with a suitable product.

While the jacket is breathable, it is primarily designed for hiking and walking. For very high-output activities, specialized running jackets may offer superior ventilation and lighter weight.

DWR is a coating applied to the outer fabric that makes water bead up and roll off, helping to maintain the fabric's breathability and prevent it from becoming saturated.

The pockets feature zippers, which offer a good level of protection. However, they are not typically considered fully submersible or waterproof for long periods. For critical items, use the inner zipped security pocket or a separate dry bag.

Ensure the DWR finish is still active. If not, clean the jacket and re-apply a waterproofing treatment. Check that all seams are intact and taped.

This can occur during very high-intensity activities. Ensure all vents (if applicable) are open and consider wearing a moisture-wicking base layer. Check that the DWR is functioning to allow moisture vapor to escape.

Clean the zipper teeth with water and a soft brush. Apply a wax-based lubricant or a specific zipper lubricant sparingly.

Ensure the shockcords are properly threaded and the toggles are functioning. Clean any dirt or debris from the adjustment points.
