Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup Instructions
Your VonHaus projector screen is designed for secure wall or ceiling mounting. Proper installation is crucial for optimal performance and safety.
- Choose Location: Select a sturdy wall or ceiling area that is free from obstructions and allows for adequate viewing distance.
- Marking Points: Use a level and measuring tape to accurately mark the drilling points for the mounting brackets. Ensure the marks are perfectly horizontal.
- Drilling & Fasteners: Drill pilot holes and securely install appropriate wall anchors or ceiling fasteners (not included, select based on wall/ceiling material).
- Mounting: Carefully attach the projector screen housing to the installed brackets.
- Test Operation: Gently pull down the screen using the retractable pull cord. Engage the self-locking mechanism by pulling down slightly and then releasing slowly. To retract, pull down again slightly and guide the screen back up.

Compatibility
This projector screen with a 16:9 aspect ratio is universally compatible with most projectors on the market that output a widescreen signal. Its passive design means it requires no power and works with any type of projector (LCD, DLP, LED, etc.).
Care & Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and pristine condition of your screen:
- Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth with plain water to gently wipe the screen surface if dust or smudges appear. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, as these can damage the screen's delicate surface and gain factor.
- Operation: Always pull the screen down and retract it gently. Avoid sudden jerks or releases, especially with the soft close mechanism, to prevent wear and tear.
- Storage: When not in use, ensure the screen is fully retracted into its housing to protect it from dust and potential damage.
