Setup, Compatibility & Care
Preparation is Key: Ensure the wood surface is clean, dry, and free from dirt, grease, and previous finishes. Lightly sand any rough areas. For bare wood, ensure it is sound and dry.
Compatibility: Suitable for use on most interior and exterior wood surfaces, including doors, window frames, sheds, fences, and general joinery. Do not use on decking.
Application: Stir the woodstain thoroughly before and during use. Apply using a good quality brush. Apply in thin, even coats. Avoid applying in wet or freezing conditions, or if rain is expected. Ensure adequate ventilation during application and drying.
Recoating: Apply a second coat when the first coat is dry to the touch, typically within a few hours, depending on temperature and humidity.
Care: Clean brushes and equipment immediately after use with water. For maintenance, clean surfaces with a mild detergent and water. Minor damage can be repaired by sanding lightly and reapplying the woodstain.
