The ASICS GEL-1130 trainers are designed for adults who seek a blend of nostalgic 2000s running aesthetics and contemporary everyday comfort. These shoes are ideal for urban commuters and those requiring reliable stability for daily wear, offering high-end impact absorption in a sleek leather-based profile. While they excel in versatility and support, potential users should be aware that their structural design is optimized for casual activities rather than high-performance long-distance running.

While inspired by 2000s running shoes, the GEL-1130 is primarily designed as a lifestyle and casual trainer for everyday use.
Yes, the construction incorporates leather, providing a durable outer structure that balances style with support.
Ensure you lace the shoes up completely to utilize the full range of the TRUSSTIC support system.
No, machine washing can damage the structural integrity and the leather materials. Stick to hand cleaning with a damp cloth.
The GEL units in the heel act as a shock absorber, cushioning the impact of your heel striking the ground during each step.
Adjust the lacing system to ensure the laces are snug across the bridge of the foot, ensuring the TRUSSTIC system is properly engaged.
Use a specialized sneaker foam cleaner and a soft-bristled brush to gently clean the mesh without forcing moisture deep into the foam lining.
For the best fit, ensure you select your standard size, as the GEL-1130 follows standard adult sizing. When securing the shoes, use the lace fastening to adjust the tension across the midfoot for optimal lockdown. To maintain the appearance of the leather and mesh construction, avoid machine washing. Instead, use a soft, damp cloth to wipe away surface dirt. If the shoes get wet, air-dry them at room temperature, keeping them away from direct heat sources like radiators, which can cause the leather to crack.
