No, it is a shell jacket designed for weather protection. You should wear insulating layers underneath if you are heading out in cold weather.
While it is waterproof and windproof, it lacks specific ski-oriented features like a powder skirt or lift-pass pocket, making it more suitable for hiking and general outdoor use.
Machine wash with a mild detergent on a gentle cycle and tumble dry on low to help reactivate the water-repellent finish.
Yes, it features a fixed hood with an adjustable shock cord.
Yes, the DryVent fabric is designed to allow moisture vapor to escape so you do not overheat during active use.
The jacket is constructed from high-quality polyester with a 2-layer DryVent coating.
The DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish may be wearing off; wash the jacket and reapply a DWR spray treatment followed by low-heat tumble drying.
Ensure you are not over-layering, as even breathable fabrics need proper airflow to move moisture vapor out effectively.
This jacket is designed for immediate use. To maintain the integrity of the DryVent fabric, ensure the front zipper is fully closed and the shock cords are adjusted to your preferred tension before heading out. For care, wash the garment in a machine using a mild detergent on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry on low heat to help maintain the fabric's properties. It is recommended to apply a water-repellent treatment periodically to the outer shell to ensure water continues to bead off effectively, especially after frequent use in heavy rain.
