The JACK PYKE Ashcombe Waterproof Jacket is an essential outer layer for adult outdoor enthusiasts, particularly hunters, shooters, and hikers who require reliable protection against the elements. Crafted from durable nylon with a bonded TPU membrane, it provides significant waterproofing and breathability, though its heavy-duty construction means it is better suited for cooler climates than high-intensity summer activities. With a focus on tactical storage and custom adjustability, it offers a robust solution for those needing to stay dry and organized in the field.

Yes, the hood is both concealable and fully removable, allowing you to adapt to the weather conditions.
We recommend checking the care label, but generally, use a cool wash with a specialized technical fabric cleaner, avoiding fabric softeners.
The jacket is designed with a breathable TPU membrane, making it suitable for active outdoor pursuits, though breathability may decrease in extremely humid conditions.
This model is designed as an adult fit, and the inclusion of multiple drawcords allows for a more personalized adjustment if you prefer layering underneath.
The jacket focuses on accessible external storage, including bellows pockets, handwarmers, and a dedicated radio pocket.
The DWR coating may have worn off; consider re-treating the outer shell with a professional-grade waterproof spray.
Clear any debris from the zipper teeth and apply a small amount of silicone lubricant to ensure smooth movement.
Ensure the internal wire is adjusted correctly and tighten the drawcords around the face to secure the hood.
To ensure the longevity of the jacket's waterproofing, avoid using harsh detergents that can degrade the TPU membrane. Always air dry the garment away from direct heat sources, such as radiators, which can cause the nylon to become brittle. Before heading out, use the internal drawcords to cinch the waist and hem to prevent wind ingress. If the jacket becomes muddy, allow the mud to dry before gently brushing it off with a soft-bristled brush, and spot-clean with a damp cloth if necessary.
