For protected servers, the included Powerchute Network Shutdown software facilitates graceful, unattended shutdowns during power outages, and it is certified Vmware Ready, Nutanix Ready, and Nutanix-AHV Ready. Remotely manage your UPS within your existing network infrastructure, including Datacenter Building Management or Industrial Automation Systems. Remote management capabilities can lead to significant time and cost savings by allowing for remote reboots of hung devices, restoring functionality without requiring on-site personnel. The card supports BACnet/IP for integration with Building Management Systems and other third-party management systems (certified BTL, for Single Phase Smart-UPS only). It offers simultaneous remote management access via Telnet and SSH, and is compatible with Smart-UPS. Security features include HTTPS/SSL, SSH (up to 2048-bit encryption), and SNMPv3. The NMC3 has expandable input and output ports supporting the Temperature Sensor, Temperature and Humidity Sensor, and Dry Contact I/O Accessory. It also supports Gigabit Ethernet for faster 1 Gbps communication over the network and IPv6 protocol for network operation. A micro-USB console port allows for faster and easier troubleshooting and configuration. Modbus TCP support enables reporting of UPS information to Building Management Systems and other third-party management systems. The web browser interface is available in multiple languages, including English, French, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, German, Italian, Spanish, and Portuguese. It supports simultaneous web browser access for up to 8 users and network command-line interface access for up to 3 users. Root of Trust support enhances security through Secure Boot. For Smart-UPS SRT models, it supports Smart Battery Management, providing detailed battery information and early-warning fault analysis. It is also compatible with the Standard UPS RFC 1628 MIB, making UPS information available to preferred network servers or enterprise management systems via SNMP traps. The UPS Firmware Update feature allows for user-friendly, remote, and seamless firmware updates via the web browser interface (for SMX, SMT, and SRT Smart-UPS models). Included in the box are a temperature sensor, USB cable, and user manual.
