Compatibility
- Layering: The regular fit and lightweight design make this jacket highly compatible with various layering systems. Wear it over a T-shirt or long-sleeve top for mild conditions, or layer it over a fleece or merino wool base layer for added warmth in colder weather.
- Activities: Suitable for a wide range of activities including walking, hiking, cycling, commuting, and general outdoor use.
Care Instructions
Proper care will help maintain the jacket's performance and extend its lifespan, especially its Durable Water Repellence.
- Check Label: Always refer to the specific care label inside your jacket for the most accurate washing instructions. Info needed: [Washing instructions from care label]
- Washing: Generally, for nylon puffer jackets, machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent. Avoid harsh detergents or fabric softeners, as these can impair the DWR finish.
- Drying: Tumble dry on a low heat setting with a few clean tennis balls. This helps to re-fluff the insulation and prevent clumping. Ensure the jacket is completely dry before storing to prevent mildew.
- Do Not Bleach or Iron: Bleaching can damage the fabric and insulation. Ironing is typically not recommended for puffer jackets.
- Reactivating DWR: Over time, the DWR finish may wear off. You can restore it using a DWR-restoring spray or wash-in product, following the product's specific instructions.
