Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
There is no complex setup required for the adidas Originals Gazelle trainers. Simply ensure your child tries them on to confirm the UK Size 13 provides a comfortable, snug fit without being too tight or loose. Check that there is about a thumb's width space between their longest toe and the end of the shoe.
Compatibility
- Age Group: Designed for 'kids' (younger children), generally fitting children who wear a UK size 13 shoe.
- Gender: Classified as 'Unisex', suitable for both boys and girls.
- Activities: Excellent for casual wear, everyday play, school, and light sporting activities. Not intended for specialized sports like professional running or specific court sports, but perfectly suited for general activity.
Care
Proper care will help maintain the appearance and extend the life of your child's Gazelle trainers. As Gazelles often feature a suede upper (common for the series):
- Initial Protection: Consider applying a suede protector spray before first wear to guard against water and stains.
- Regular Cleaning: For light dirt and dust, use a soft brush (a dedicated suede brush works best) to gently remove debris.
- Spot Cleaning: For stubborn marks, use a suede cleaner or a damp cloth with mild soap. Blot the area gently, do not rub harshly, to avoid damaging the material. Allow to air dry naturally, away from direct heat.
- Avoid Washing Machine: Do not machine wash these trainers, as it can damage the materials and construction.
- Drying: If wet, stuff the shoes with paper towels to absorb moisture and help maintain their shape. Air dry at room temperature.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use.
