The Shark PowerDetect 2-in-1 Robot Vacuum & Mop is designed for homeowners seeking a hands-free, deep-cleaning solution for hard floors and carpets, particularly those managing pet hair and hidden grime. Its primary advantage is the integrated UV Stain Detect technology and the NeverTouch Pro Base, which sanitizes mop pads with high-heat water and air, though users should note the larger footprint required for the base station in smaller living spaces.

The NeverTouch Pro Base manages the mop cleaning, but ensure you monitor the debris bin and water levels periodically for optimal performance.
Yes, the PowerDetect series is designed to identify different floor types and will automatically switch modes to clean rugs effectively.
The system utilizes 85°C water to wash the mop pads, ensuring deep sanitization before drying with 80°C air.
Yes, the robot is designed to be safe on sealed hard floors when used with the appropriate Shark floor cleaning solution.
Replacement frequency depends on usage, but typically it should be checked every 3 to 6 months.
Ensure the base is on a level surface and there is sufficient clearance for the robot to maneuver into the dock.
Verify that the clean water tank has enough water and that the sanitization cycle is completing fully; ensure the anti-odour cartridge is not expired.
Clean the sensors located on the front of the robot with a soft, dry cloth to ensure dirt isn't obstructing the UV emitter.
To set up the unit, place the NeverTouch Pro Base against a flat wall with at least 0.5 meters of clearance on both sides to allow the robot to dock correctly. Ensure the anti-odour cartridge is inserted into the designated slot to maintain a fresh scent. Compatibility is broad across most sealed hard floors and low-to-medium pile carpets. For care, regularly check the main brush roll for tangled hair, rinse the filter as indicated by the app, and ensure the clean water tank in the base is topped up with the provided floor cleaner solution. The mop pads should be checked periodically for heavy wear and replaced to ensure consistent scrubbing quality.
