Setup
- Lacing: Ensure the boots are laced snugly but not too tightly, allowing for natural foot movement without restriction. Start from the bottom eyelets and work your way up, pulling gently to secure the fit.
- Break-in: Like most high-performance boots, a short break-in period is recommended. Wear them for a few light training sessions before competitive matches to allow the HybridTouch upper to fully adapt to your foot shape.
Compatibility
These adidas Predator Elite FG boots are specifically engineered for Firm Ground (FG) pitches. This means natural grass fields that are relatively dry and firm. Using them on artificial grass (AG), soft ground (SG), or indoor surfaces may compromise performance, durability, and could void any warranty.
Care
- Cleaning: After each use, gently wipe down the boots with a damp cloth to remove dirt and debris from the HybridTouch upper and soleplate. For stubborn mud, a soft brush can be used on the soleplate. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Drying: Air dry your boots at room temperature. Do not expose them to direct heat sources like radiators or direct sunlight, as this can damage the materials and affect their fit. Stuffing them with newspaper can help absorb moisture and maintain their shape.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Consider using a boot bag to protect them during transport.
