Setup, Compatibility & Care
- Assembly: Assemble the grill according to the included instructions. Ensure all components are securely attached.
- Placement: Place the grill on a stable, level surface away from flammable materials.
- Fueling: Use lump charcoal for optimal performance and flavor. Avoid using charcoal briquettes, which can impart unwanted flavors.
- Lighting: Use a chimney starter or fire starters to ignite the charcoal.
- Temperature Control: Adjust the top and bottom vents to control airflow and temperature. Close vents to reduce heat; open them to increase heat.
- Cleaning: After each use, allow the grill to cool completely. Brush the cooking grates to remove food particles. Empty the ash from the bottom vent.
- Maintenance: Clean the exterior with a damp cloth. Protect the grill from the elements with the included cover when not in use.

The Kamado Bono Media grill is compatible with standard grilling accessories, such as:
- Grilling gloves
- Chimney starters
- Meat thermometers
Care
- Always use heat-resistant gloves when handling hot surfaces.
- Do not use water to extinguish the charcoal. Close the vents to cut off the oxygen supply.
- Regularly inspect the gasket seal and replace it if necessary to maintain proper heat retention.
