Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: These shoes are ready to wear right out of the box. Ensure the laces are adjusted for a snug, comfortable fit, not too tight to restrict circulation but secure enough to prevent heel slippage.
Compatibility: Designed for trail running. While the Gore-Tex offers versatility, the aggressive outsole is optimized for off-road terrain. Compatibility with specialized running insoles is generally good, but consult the manufacturer if using custom orthotics.
Care:
- Cleaning: After runs, remove loose dirt and debris with a soft brush. For deeper cleaning, use a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid machine washing or harsh detergents, as these can damage the waterproof membrane and materials.
- Drying: Allow shoes to air dry naturally at room temperature, away from direct heat sources like radiators or sunlight, which can degrade the materials. Stuffing them with newspaper can help absorb moisture and maintain shape during drying.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place when not in use. Ensure they are completely dry before storing to prevent odor and mildew.
