This budget-friendly, self-adhesive vinyl wrap is a quick and easy DIY solution for transforming surfaces like kitchen worktops and furniture. It is heat resistant up to 75C and durable for easy cleaning. This non-permanent film is ideal for renters and landlords as it is completely removable. Its realistic marble and stone designs offer a cost-effective way to update tired countertops. Application is simple with a grid on the backing paper for cutting guidance and it can be applied around sinks. For curved surfaces, a hairdryer can be used to make the vinyl more pliable. Aftercare involves using silicone sealant around sinks and hobs for water-tightness, wiping clean with regular household cleaners without scrubbing, and avoiding sharp objects on the surface. Hot plates and cups are fine, but keep hot pans at least 12 inches away from naked flames. Made in Germany, dc fix vinyl has a 5-star rating for adhesion, opacity, lightfastness, shrinkage, and durability. It features a water-based, low-tack adhesive allowing for repositioning during application, bonding fully within 24 hours and removable with heat.
