Full details
The Sloomy Sofia Gold Plush Divan Set is designed for those seeking a stable and supportive mattress foundation with a touch of classic elegance. Its platform-top construction ensures consistent support, while the included Chesterfield-style headboard adds a sophisticated focal point. A potential consideration is the mattress's medium comfort rating and single-sided design, which may not suit all preferences for firmness or adjustability.

FAQs
Is the mattress included with the divan set?
Yes, the Sloomy Sofia Gold Plush Divan Set includes a 10-inch open-coil mattress with a medium comfort rating.
Can I use my own mattress with this divan base?
Yes, the divan base is designed to support standard double mattresses. However, the platform-top construction works best with mattresses that don't require a sprung base.
How do I care for the fabric on the divan base?
Care instructions depend on the specific fabric chosen. Generally, wipe with a slightly damp cloth and avoid harsh chemicals. Consult the fabric care guide for your specific upholstery.
What does 'single-sided' mean for the mattress?
A single-sided mattress means it has a designated top side and cannot be flipped over. You should regularly rotate it head-to-toe to ensure even wear and comfort.
What is the warranty period for the mattress?
The included mattress comes with a 1-year manufacturer's guarantee.
What are the dimensions of the headboard?
The headboard is 26 inches high and attaches to the divan base with struts.
Are there storage options available for this divan set?
This specific model is listed as 'No Drawers'. Please check other listings for options that may include integrated storage.
Troubleshooting

Check that all connecting bolts and fixings are tightened securely. Ensure the base is on a level surface.
Headboard is wobbly
Verify that the headboard struts are firmly attached to both the headboard and the divan base. Ensure all screws are tightened.
Mattress feels uneven
Rotate the mattress head-to-toe if you haven't done so recently. Ensure the divan base is level and providing consistent support.
Chrome gliders are loose

Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
Setup: The divan set typically arrives in sections that need to be joined. The headboard attaches to the divan base via pre-drilled holes using the provided struts. Ensure all fixings are tightened securely. The divan base is designed to support standard double-sized mattresses.
Compatibility: This divan set is compatible with most double mattresses. The included mattress is designed specifically for this base. For optimal results, use the provided mattress or one of similar specifications. Ensure your chosen mattress depth is suitable for the headboard height.
Care:
- Divan Base: Wipe clean with a slightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. For fabric upholstery, follow specific cleaning instructions for the chosen fabric type (Plush Velvet, Naples, etc.).
- Mattress: As the mattress is single-sided, it cannot be turned over. Instead, rotate the mattress head-to-toe regularly (e.g., monthly) to ensure even wear. Vacuum the mattress surface occasionally to remove dust. Address spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth.
