The jacket is filled with a ratio of 80% down and 20% feather for an optimal balance of warmth and loft.
The jacket features a protective TPU membrane that offers resistance to the elements, though it is primarily designed for insulation rather than heavy downpours.
Always refer to the care label inside the garment. Generally, down jackets require specialized detergent and specific washing machine settings to avoid damaging the fill.
The jacket features internal knitted rib cuffs designed to sit snugly against the wrist, providing a comfortable seal against the cold.
No, the jacket features a grown-on (fixed) hood which is adjustable to provide better protection against the wind.
The outer shell is constructed from durable polyester combined with a TPU membrane for protection.
This is normal for high-quality down products; do not pull the feather out. Instead, pull it back in from the inside of the jacket and massage the fabric to close the small hole.
Gently shake the jacket and allow it to hang in an open area for 24 hours. You can also tumble dry on a low heat setting with clean tennis balls to fluff the down.
Because this jacket uses natural down, it is essential to follow care instructions closely to ensure the longevity of the fill. Always check the internal care label before cleaning. If the jacket gets wet, allow it to dry completely in a well-ventilated area, and shake it periodically to redistribute the down clusters and restore its loft. Avoid storing the jacket compressed for long periods; hang it in a cool, dry place to keep the insulation fluffy and effective.
