ASICS GEL-Cumulus 16 - Grey

The ASICS GEL-Cumulus 16 are designed with advanced cushioning for comfort in casual everyday activities like walking and errands. While they offer good support, they are primarily optimized for general daily wear rather than high-performance or long-distance running training.

ASICS generally runs true to size. We recommend trying them on to ensure the best fit, allowing a thumb's width space between your longest toe and the end of the shoe. If unsure, refer to an ASICS size guide.

GEL cushioning is a proprietary ASICS technology involving silicone-based gel strategically placed in the midsole to absorb shock and provide superior comfort during impact, protecting your joints.

FluidRide is ASICS' advanced midsole technology that provides a combination of bounce-back and cushioning properties. It's designed to reduce weight, provide excellent durability, and offer an adaptive underfoot feel.

It is generally not recommended to put trainers in a washing machine as it can damage the materials, adhesives, and cushioning. Always refer to the product care label for specific instructions, but typically, spot cleaning is the safest method.

The lifespan of trainers depends on usage frequency, intensity, and care. For casual daily wear, with proper care, you can expect a good lifespan. If used more heavily, cushioning and support may diminish sooner.

Ensure you have the correct size. Try wearing them for short periods initially to allow for a break-in period. Check your lacing technique; loosening the laces can sometimes improve comfort.

Regularly spot clean your trainers after use. For mud or tougher dirt, allow it to dry first, then gently brush it off before spot cleaning. Consider using a protective spray designed for footwear.

Remove the insoles and allow both the shoes and insoles to air out completely after each wear. You can use shoe deodorizers or place baking soda in socks inside the shoes overnight to absorb odors.

The cushioning in any shoe will naturally compress and degrade over extended use. While the GEL-Cumulus 16 is durable, if you're using them heavily, consider rotating them with another pair of shoes or replacing them when you notice a significant decline in cushioning.
