This specific reducing coupling connects a 32mm pipe to a 25mm pipe.
The product is supplied in a pack of 10 and typically relies on standard push-fit connection methods. Detailed instructions for use are available in this guide.
The coupling is built to high-quality standards for durable and leak-free operation in cold water applications.
Ensure the pipes are fully inserted into the fitting and are clean and undamaged. Verify that the correct pipe sizes (32mm and 25mm) are being used. Confirm the fitting is intended for cold water use only.
Check that the pipe end is cut squarely and is free of burrs. Ensure the pipe is not deformed. Slightly moistening the pipe end can sometimes help with insertion.
Confirm that the correct size reduction (32mm to 25mm) is intended for the system. Check for any internal obstructions within the pipe or the fitting itself. Ensure the pipe is fully seated within the coupling.
Setup: Ensure both the 32mm and 25mm pipes are clean and free from debris. Insert the 32mm pipe into one end of the coupling and the 25mm pipe into the other. Push each pipe firmly into the fitting until it is fully seated, ensuring the internal seal engages correctly. Test the connection for leaks after installation by running water through the system.
Compatibility: This reducing coupling is designed to connect standard 32mm and 25mm pipes compatible with John Guest push-fit fittings. It is intended for use exclusively in cold water applications.
Care: No specific maintenance is required for the coupling itself under normal operating conditions. Periodically check connections for any signs of leakage. If a leak is detected, re-seat the pipes within the fitting or check for pipe damage.
