Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Before you begin painting, ensure your working area is clear and protected. Lay down dust sheets or old newspapers to prevent accidental splashes on patios or plants. Ensure the shed or fence is structurally sound and any repairs are completed prior to painting.
Compatibility
This product is specifically formulated and compatible with rough sawn timber sheds and fences. It is not recommended for use on smooth planed timber, decking, garden furniture, or other wood surfaces where foot traffic or direct skin contact is frequent. Always check the wood type before application.
Care & Maintenance
- Cleaning: To clean painted surfaces, gently wipe with a damp cloth. Avoid harsh abrasives or strong chemical cleaners as these may damage the finish.
- Re-application: While the paint offers up to 5 years of protection, inspect your sheds and fences annually. Re-apply a fresh coat if you notice signs of wear, fading, or reduced water repellency to maintain optimal protection and appearance.
- Storage: Store any unused paint in its original container, tightly sealed, in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and frost. Ensure the lid is securely fastened to prevent the paint from drying out.
