FAQs
Are these shoes machine washable?
It is generally recommended to hand clean these shoes to preserve the materials and foam insole.
Does the cotton canvas provide good support?
The canvas is soft and flexible, providing comfort for casual use, but it does not provide rigid structural support.
Can I use these for running?
No, these are fashion trainers designed for casual lifestyle use, not for athletic running.
Do these come in other materials?
Yes, depending on the specific series version, they are also available in nylon materials.
How do I ensure I get the right size?
These follow standard UK adult sizing; if you are between sizes, we recommend checking your foot length against a standard size chart.
Troubleshooting
Canvas surface showing dirt buildup
Use a soft-bristled brush to remove dry dust and a damp cloth with mild detergent for persistent stains.
Insole feels compressed after long-term wear
Consider replacing the insert with a generic thin cushioned insole if the original foam loses its rebound.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Lightweight design perfect for daily errands
- Breathable cotton construction
- Soft interior cushioning for comfort
- Versatile style matches various casual outfits
Cons
- Not suitable for strenuous sports or gym training
- Cotton canvas requires more frequent cleaning than leather
- Limited arch support compared to orthopedic footwear
Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Rocket Dog Kitty Trainers maintain their look, keep the following tips in mind:
Care Instructions:
- Spot clean the cotton canvas upper using a soft cloth and mild soap; avoid soaking the shoes completely to maintain the integrity of the adhesive and foam.
- Allow them to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources like radiators to prevent the canvas from stiffening.
- If the shoes get wet, stuff them with newspaper to help maintain their shape while drying.
Compatibility:
- These trainers fit standard adult sizing. If you prefer to wear thicker socks, consider how the cotton material will stretch, as it typically provides a snug initial fit.
