Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
Setup
There is no complex setup required for your On Running Cloud 6 Waterproof trainers. Simply unlace them to your comfort, slide your feet in, and lace them up securely. Ensure the lacing is snug but not overly tight, allowing for natural foot movement without slippage.
Compatibility
These trainers are designed for *road running* and *urban environments*, particularly in *wet weather conditions*. They are compatible with various running surfaces like asphalt, concrete, and light gravel. Their waterproof feature makes them ideal for use in rain, snow, or damp conditions where keeping feet dry is crucial.
Care
To ensure the longevity and performance of your waterproof trainers, proper care is essential:
- Cleaning: After each run, especially in wet or muddy conditions, gently wipe down the upper with a damp cloth to remove dirt and debris. For tougher stains, use a mild soap solution and a soft brush. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, which can damage the waterproof membrane and materials.
- Drying: Always allow your trainers to air dry naturally at room temperature. Remove the insoles to help them dry faster. Never expose them to direct heat sources like radiators, heaters, or direct sunlight, as this can damage materials and adhesives, compromising the waterproof integrity. You can stuff them with newspaper to absorb moisture and maintain shape.
- Storage: Store your trainers in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Avoid storing them in damp environments, which can lead to mold or mildew.
- Waterproof Maintenance: While designed to be durable, regular cleaning and proper drying help maintain the waterproof properties over time. Info needed: Specific recommendations for re-waterproofing treatments if applicable.
- Laces and Insoles: Periodically wash laces separately or replace them if they become worn. Insoles can also be hand-washed with mild soap and air-dried to maintain freshness.
