WRAS (Water Regulations Advisory Scheme) approval means the product has been rigorously tested and meets the highest standards for use in public water supply systems in the UK. It ensures the fitting will not contaminate drinking water.

These fittings are designed and approved for cold potable water use only. They are not intended for hot water applications.

The fittings are designed to safely handle working pressures up to 16 bar.

This fitting is specifically designed for 25mm nominal size pipes.

The female threaded end has a 1/2" thread size.

Ensure the 25mm pipe is cut squarely and pushed straight into the fitting until it stops. The anti-perishable o-ring is designed to create the seal upon proper insertion.

While UV-resistant, it is recommended to protect the fittings from constant burial in soil, especially if the soil is abrasive or subject to movement. However, they can be used in exposed underground irrigation systems where they are periodically accessible.

Ensure the 25mm pipe is cut cleanly and inserted fully and straight into the fitting. Check that the o-ring is not dislodged or damaged. If damaged, replace the fitting.

Verify that the 1/2" female thread is compatible and clean. Ensure the threaded connection is tightened appropriately (not over-tightened, which can damage the threads). Use PTFE tape if necessary for a secure seal on the male thread of the mating part.

This may indicate prolonged exposure to harsh UV light beyond the expected lifespan of the UV resistance. While designed to be UV-resistant, extreme conditions can eventually affect the material. Consider replacing fittings in heavily exposed areas if performance is compromised.
