The Quicklace™ system uses a minimalistic, strong lace that can be tightened with a single pull of a toggle. Once tightened to your preferred snugness, the excess lace and toggle can be tucked into a dedicated pocket on the tongue of the shoe, providing a secure and clean fit.

The Salomon XT-6 features a synthetic and textile upper, which offers some water resistance and quick-drying properties but is not fully waterproof. For waterproof needs, look for models specifically featuring GORE-TEX or similar waterproof membranes.

The SensiFit™ Cradle System cradles your foot for a secure, precise, and comfortable fit, enhancing stability. The Agile Chassis System is a lightweight, low-profile chassis placed between the outsole and midsole, providing improved stability, cushioning, and responsiveness on uneven terrain.

Brush off loose dirt, then use a damp cloth and mild soap to clean the synthetic and textile upper. Do not machine wash or tumble dry. Allow them to air dry naturally at room temperature, away from direct heat.

Salomon sizing is generally true to fit for performance footwear. However, fit can vary by individual foot shape. We recommend trying them on to ensure optimal comfort, especially if you plan to wear thick socks. This specific variant is a UK Size 7.

Adjust the Quicklace™ system. To loosen, pull the toggle away from the shoe and gently pull the tongue of the shoe up. To tighten, slide the toggle down towards the shoe and pull the excess lace until snug, then secure in the lace pocket.

Ensure you are wearing appropriate socks. Re-evaluate the tightness of the Quicklace™ system; sometimes too tight or too loose can cause issues. Allow for a break-in period if new. If discomfort persists, consider checking your size or trying different insoles.

While Mud Contagrip® offers excellent grip, extreme conditions can still be challenging. Ensure the outsole is clean of excessive mud or debris which can reduce traction. Check for wear on the outsole lugs; if significantly worn, grip performance will diminish.

Squeaking often comes from the insole rubbing against the sole. Remove the OrthoLite® insole, clean both the insole and the inside of the shoe, ensure they are dry, and reinsert. A light dusting of powder under the insole can also sometimes help.
