It easily applies to produce a semi-matt film that moves with the surface it is applied to, making it versatile and durable. Suitable for use on both new and previously painted timber, it is built to withstand extreme weather conditions. It forms a water-resistant paint finish that allows water vapour to permeate the wood, making it ideal for painting wooden facias, wooden window frames, and doors, among others. Valtti Opaque is a highly versatile product for new and previously painted timber. We suggest you apply Valtti Opaque with a brush, roller, or spray to clean, dry surfaces. It is extremely durable and provides maximum weather protection, preventing mould growth with its water-resistant film. The paint has a semi-matt finish (11-35% sheen) and an opaque, high opacity colour appearance. It is water-based with low VOCs and is available in thousands of colours (and colour matching). Tikkurila products are canned in Finland and at the point of filling, the volume in the can is 10% less than the unit of measure to allow for tinting of the product. In order to manufacture the required colour, we need the spare volume for the colourant addition.
