Product Information

Full details

Vintro Paint Chrysler Eggshell is a premium, water-based paint designed for homeowners and DIY enthusiasts looking for a durable, satin-finish solution for interior and exterior surfaces. It provides exceptional coverage and a sophisticated depth of color, making it perfect for high-traffic areas like kitchens and bathrooms; however, users should note that as a satin finish, it offers a slight sheen that may highlight surface imperfections more than a flat matt finish would.

FAQs

Can I use Vintro Eggshell on exterior metal?

Yes, this paint is suitable for both interior and exterior metalwork, including radiators and pipes.

Is this paint washable?

Yes, the durable eggshell finish is fully washable, making it perfect for busy kitchens and bathrooms.

Does it have a high shine?

It features a satin finish, which has a soft sheen rather than a high gloss, providing a sophisticated, reflective depth.

Can I use this on furniture?

Absolutely. It serves as an excellent, more durable alternative to the matte finish of traditional Chalk Paint.

Is it water-based?

Yes, it is a technically advanced, water-based product that is easy to clean up with water.

Troubleshooting

Paint is not adhering well to the surface.

Ensure the surface was cleaned of all grease and dust. If painting over a glossy surface, lightly sand it first to provide a key.

Brush strokes are visible in the final finish.

Use a high-quality synthetic brush, maintain a 'wet edge' while painting, and avoid over-working the paint once it begins to set.

The finish looks uneven or patchy.

Ensure the primer or base coat is applied evenly and allow for full drying time between coats.

Pros and Cons

Extremely durable and resistant to moisture
Suitable for both interior and exterior projects
High pigment density for beautiful depth of color
Easy to clean and maintain in high-traffic areas
Eco-friendly, water-based formulation

Cons

Satin sheen can emphasize surface bumps or imperfections
Requires careful surface preparation for best results
May require multiple coats on porous surfaces

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To achieve the best results, ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free from grease or flaking material before starting. For metal surfaces, ensure any rust is treated or removed. When applying to floors or stairs, ensure the surface is properly primed if necessary, as these are high-friction areas. Clean brushes and tools with water immediately after use. For ongoing care, simply wipe down the painted surface with a soft cloth and mild soapy water as needed to keep it looking fresh.
