Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Simply plug one end of the HDMI cable into the HDMI output port of your source device (e.g., computer, Blu-ray player) and the other end into the HDMI input port of your display device (e.g., TV, monitor). The gripping connectors will require a firm push to engage and may need a slight pull or wiggle to disengage. Ensure both devices are powered off before connecting or disconnecting to prevent potential signal interference.
Compatibility: This cable is compliant with HDMI 2.0 specifications. It supports all HDMI features, including resolutions up to 4K (3840 x 2160) at 60Hz, High Dynamic Range (HDR10), HDCP 2.2 for protected content, and Audio Return Channel (ARC). It is backward compatible with earlier HDMI versions, though performance will be limited to the capabilities of the lowest version in the chain.
Care: To maintain optimal performance and longevity:
- Avoid sharp bends or kinks in the cable.
- Keep connectors clean; if necessary, gently clean with a dry, lint-free cloth. Avoid using liquids or abrasive materials.
- Store the cable away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight when not in use.
