Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure both your source device (e.g., Blu-ray player, gaming console, computer) and display device (e.g., TV, monitor, projector) are powered off.
- Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI output port on your source device.
- Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI input port on your display device.
- Power on your display device, followed by your source device.
- Select the appropriate HDMI input on your display device.
Compatibility:
This cable is compliant with the HDMI 2.0 specification, ensuring compatibility with:
- Devices supporting UHD resolutions up to 4096x2160@60Hz (4K).
- 3D video formats.
- Audio Return Channel (ARC) and HDMI Ethernet Channel (HEC).
- Consumer Electronics Control (CEC).
- Dolby True HD and DTS-HD Master Audio.
- Older HDMI versions (backward compatible).
Care:
- To clean the cable and connectors, unplug them from all devices. Use a dry, soft cloth to wipe the cable and connectors. Avoid using liquids or abrasive cleaners.
- Store the cable in a cool, dry place when not in use, away from direct sunlight or extreme temperatures.
- Avoid tightly coiling or sharply bending the cable, as this can damage the internal conductors.
