The Bedec Multi-Surface Paint is designed for DIY enthusiasts and homeowners seeking a versatile, high-performance solution for diverse interior and exterior projects. Its primary advantage is its ability to adhere to almost any substrate—from wood and MDF to metal, uPVC, and masonry—without the need for a separate primer or undercoat. While it offers excellent durability and a flexible finish, users should be aware that achieving a smooth, professional-looking coat requires careful surface preparation and adherence to the recommended recoat times to avoid brush marks.

Yes, the product is designed to adhere over most existing paints and varnishes, including oil-based systems.

Lightly sand the surface with fine-grade sandpaper to create a mechanical key, then clean away all dust before reapplying.
Use a high-quality synthetic brush and avoid over-working the paint; apply in smooth, even strokes and ensure you are not using too much paint on the brush.
Ensure the application area has adequate ventilation and the humidity level is low, as high moisture levels can significantly extend curing times.
Before applying the paint, ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free from loose or flaking material, oil, or grease. While the paint works on most surfaces, a test patch is recommended if you are unsure of the substrate type. For cleaning brushes and rollers, use warm, soapy water immediately after application; once the paint has cured, it becomes highly water-resistant and difficult to remove. Store the tin in a cool, dry place, ensuring the lid is tightly sealed to prevent the contents from drying out.
