Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your jacket, always shake off excess water before storage. When cleaning, use a technical gear wash specifically designed for waterproof membranes; avoid standard laundry detergents or fabric softeners, as these can strip the DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating. The jacket is best line-dried in a well-ventilated area. After several washings, you may need to re-apply a DWR spray treatment to the outer nylon layer to ensure water continues to bead off effectively. Ensure all zippers are fully closed during wash cycles to protect the Aquaguard seals.
