For smooth or glossy surfaces, lightly abrade the area with fine-grit sandpaper to promote mechanical bonding, then remove all sanding dust. If you are painting plastic, you must apply a dedicated plastic primer first to prevent the enamel from flaking over time. Shake the aerosol can thoroughly according to the product label before application. For maintenance, store the can in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, and always invert the can and spray briefly after use to clear the nozzle and prevent clogging.
