Yes, this paint is designed for use on plastic surfaces, provided the surface is clean and free from oils.
While it can be applied directly to many surfaces, using a primer is recommended for better adhesion, especially on porous materials like raw wood or rusted metal.
This product is a general-purpose gloss enamel and is not specifically rated for high-heat applications like stovetops or engines.
While it is fast-drying to the touch, it is recommended to wait at least 24 hours for a full, durable cure.
It is intended for furniture, components, and small surfaces rather than large-scale interior wall painting.
Two light coats are typically sufficient to achieve full opacity and the desired high-gloss finish.
You are likely holding the can too close to the surface or moving too slowly; keep a distance of 8-10 inches and maintain a steady pace.
The surface may not have been fully clean or dry; ensure all grease and dust are removed before application.
Soak the nozzle in mineral spirits or replace it if the obstruction remains persistent.
To ensure the best results, start by cleaning your target surface to remove all dust, grease, and loose particles. For rusted metal, use a wire brush before painting. Always use the product in a well-ventilated space or outdoors to ensure safety. Shake the container vigorously for at least one minute before starting to ensure the pigment is properly mixed. After finishing your project, hold the can upside down and spray briefly to clear the nozzle and prevent clogging for future use.
