Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
The Adizero Aruku features a standard lace closure system. To ensure optimal comfort and support:
- Loosen the laces fully before putting on the shoe.
- Slide your foot in, ensuring your heel is comfortably seated at the back of the shoe.
- Begin tightening the laces from the bottom (closest to the toes) upwards, applying even pressure.
- Tie the laces securely, but not so tightly that they cause pressure points or restrict circulation.
Compatibility
These shoes are designed for a regular fit and are highly versatile for day-to-day activities. They are compatible with a wide range of casual outfits and are suitable for various surfaces, from city streets to indoor environments. While they offer cushioning inspired by performance runners, they are best suited for light running, walking, and general daily wear rather than specialized athletic training.
Care
To prolong the life and appearance of your Adizero Aruku shoes:
- Cleaning: For the textile and synthetic upper, gently wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid harsh chemicals. For tougher dirt, use a soft brush. Allow to air dry completely, away from direct heat.
- Odour Control: Remove insoles periodically to air them out. You can also use shoe deodorizers or baking soda sprinkled inside overnight.
- Storage: Store shoes in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use. Using shoe trees can help maintain their shape.
- Avoid Machine Washing: Machine washing can damage the materials and adhesives, voiding any potential warranties. Always opt for hand cleaning.
