The jacket features zipped pockets which offer good protection against light rain and splashes. However, they are not designed to be fully submersible, so it's advisable to keep electronic devices in a waterproof pouch if heavy rain is expected.

It is best to use a mild, liquid detergent specifically designed for technical outdoor clothing. Avoid using powder detergents, fabric softeners, or bleach, as these can strip away the DWR finish and clog the breathable membrane.

This may be due to condensation. Ensure the jacket is not too tightly sealed and consider opening zippers slightly or wearing breathable layers underneath. Check the breathability rating of your base layers.

Inspect the taped seams for any signs of damage or peeling. If the seams are compromised, the jacket's waterproof integrity may be affected. Re-evaluate the need for re-waterproofing or consider a replacement if damage is significant.

Clean the zipper teeth with a soft brush to remove any dirt or debris. Apply a silicone-based lubricant or wax specifically designed for zippers to ensure smooth operation.

The DWR finish may have worn off. Wash the jacket according to care instructions and then apply a suitable DWR re-treatment spray or wash-in product, following the product's guidelines.
