The Delonghi Rivelia Start is an ideal choice for home coffee enthusiasts who crave variety and barista-level precision without the complexity of a manual machine. Its standout feature is the unique Bean Switch system, which enables users to swap between bean hoppers effortlessly to explore different roasts or decaf options. While the machine offers an impressive degree of personalization, its compact footprint does require users to perform more frequent maintenance on water and grounds capacity compared to larger commercial-grade units.

The frequency depends on your local water hardness settings, but the machine will prompt you automatically when it is required.
No, it is recommended to wash the hoppers by hand with warm water to protect the seals and plastic housing.
Yes, the LatteCrema system works with various plant-based milks, though results may vary based on protein and fat content.
Yes, the machine features an energy-saving auto-off timer that can be configured in the settings menu.
Pre-heat your cup using the hot water function or ensure the temperature setting is set to the highest level in the drink menu.
Ensure the milk carafe is properly assembled and clean. Verify the milk type is fresh and sufficiently cold.
There may be a pebble or hard debris in the beans. Empty the hopper and clear the grinder, or adjust the grind setting to a coarser level.
Setting up the Rivelia Start involves an initial priming of the water circuit, which the screen guides you through automatically. Ensure the machine is placed on a level surface with adequate space around the rear for ventilation and top access for the bean hoppers. To maintain peak performance, descale the machine promptly when the alert appears on the display. The LatteCrema system components are largely dishwasher safe, but daily rinsing of the steam wand and milk spout is recommended to ensure hygiene and proper milk aeration. Always use the provided water hardness test strip during initial setup to calibrate the machine’s internal descaling frequency.
