Setup, Compatibility & Care
Preparation:
- Ensure the wall surface is clean, dry, smooth, and free from old wallpaper or loose paint. Prime the surface if necessary.
- Check that the batch numbers on all rolls are the same to ensure color consistency.
Application (Paste the Paper):
- Unroll the wallpaper and cut strips to the required length, allowing for a little extra at the top and bottom.
- Apply wallpaper adhesive evenly to the back of each strip, following the adhesive manufacturer's instructions.
- Book the pasted paper (fold pasted sides together loosely) for the recommended time.
- Hang the first strip vertically, ensuring it is level, using a wallpaper brush to smooth out air bubbles.
- Continue hanging subsequent strips, aligning them edge-to-edge, paying close attention to the Offset 26.5cm pattern match.
- Trim excess wallpaper at the ceiling and skirting board using a sharp knife and straight edge.
Compatibility:
- Suitable for most interior walls, including living rooms, bedrooms, and hallways.
- Not recommended for areas with high moisture, such as bathrooms or kitchens, unless specifically rated for such use (check product specifications).
Care:
- This wallpaper is spongeable. Use a clean, damp cloth or sponge to gently wipe away minor marks or smudges. Avoid excessive rubbing, which can damage the finish or glitter.
